Description
This is
an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The Focke-Wulf Ta152H-1 was based on the Focke-Wulf Fw190; the Fw190’s air-cooled engine was replaced with a liquid-cooled engine. This made the Ta152 more suited for high-altitude combat, useful for intercepting large Allied bombers. The H-1 version of this aircraft had a long main wing with a high aspect ratio. The V-type 12-cylinder engine had a liquid-cooled supercharger with a two-stage three-speed engine to improve its high-altitude performance. Although it showed excellent performance, it entered the war too late to have much effect on the battlefield, but it was held in high regard as the ultimate reciprocating fighter aircraft. Approximately 60 of this aircraft were built from December 1944 to the end of the war. This model kit from Dragon is a renewal of the highly thought of Trimaster kit, and fully reproduces the Ta152H-1’s distinctive style with its long nose and wingspan; the panel lining is concave. The Jumo 213 engine in the long nose is also duplicated; you can separate the nose cowl parts to finish the model with the cowl open. The cockpit is also modeled in detail, including instrument panels, seats, control stick and foot pedals. The canopy can be assembled opened or closed. Order yours today!
