Description
This is
an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The A2D Sky Shark is a turboprop carrier-capable attack aircraft developed by Douglas for the U.S. Navy. The prototype XA2D, which first flew in 1950, uses the A-1 Skyraider’s tail wings, but the fuselage and main wings were redesigned due to a different engine being used. A signifcant improvement in performance was recognized compared to the A-1, and more than 300 were ordered, but due to the low reliability of the engine due to its complicated structure, the Navy canceled the order in 1952. There were a total of two prototypes built, and ten of the production type A2D-1.This kit from Clear Prop! is a new mold! Details such as the cockpit, landing gear, intake and exhaust pipe are realistically reproduced, and the main wing can be assembled folded or unfolded. Two types of canopies are included (one open, one closed), two types of exhaust parts, photo-etched parts, painting mask seals and decals for four versions. Order yours now!
